PM Proposes to Create "Beach Museum"

Preah Sihanouk: The Prime Minister of Cambodia, Hun Sen, requested the Ministry of Tourism and the Preah Sihanouk Provincial Authority to examine the possibility of setting up a beach museum and asked the president and members of the most beautiful beach club in the world to share their experiences and processes organizing this museum as well.

PM Hun Sen said this at the opening ceremony of the 16th General Assembly of the most beautiful beach club in the world on the morning of December 10, 2023 in Sihanoukville

He Said: "I propose that Ministry of Tourism and Preah Sihanouk Provincial Administration study the possibility of establishing Maison de la Baie. In this sense, I would like to ask Excellency President and all club members to share experiences and processes of establishing your respective Maison de la Baie".

Cambodia was included as a full member of the Club of the Most Beautiful Beaches in the World at the 7th General Assembly of the Club on 26 May 2011 in Tobago, Senegal.

The most beautiful beach club in the world organizes annual conventions in its member countries.

The General Assembly is an important forum to provide an opportunity for Club member countries to meet and exchange experiences on coastal management, as well as raise their challenges to find solutions for sustainable and sustainable beach management beauty and tourist attraction. In particular, the General Assembly is also an opportunity to promote tourism destinations and products.
